Made from the finest 100% long fibre cotton. The most popular thread in the world for embroidery & cross stitch. Each skein is 8m in length & comprised of 6 easily separable strands. Threads are available in 465 colours which are washable and fade resistant.

Use

This thread is perfect for stitching on all types of fabric and you can vary your stitching results by using different numbers of strands. You can use this thread alone, tweeded or mixed with metallic stranded cotton.

Care

Care must be taken with the fabric onto which the thread has been stitched. Use a mild soap at all times. After washing, wrap the embroidery in a towel to remove excess water, then dry flat. Place the embroidery on a clean cloth while still damp, and iron (at the temperature setting suited to the fabric) on the reverse side.
