How to Use
Select a diagram of your choice and replace one colour of DMC Stranded Cotton by a similar Light Effects colour, e.g. replace 310 with E310.
Work with shorter lengths of Light Effects, approx. 30cm / 12" to prevent tangling and to avoid fraying. The more the thread is pulled through the fabric, the more wear and tear it takes. Shorter thread lengths help to prevent this from occurring. Use a slip knot with a no 24 size needle.

Wash & Care
Washable pieces stitched with Light Effects can be washed in warm water (not to exceed 105°F) with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Wrap in towel to remove excess water, but do not wring. Then lie flat to dry. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low setting, if needed. For dry-cleanable pieces, any dry cleaning solvent except trichloroethylene may be used.
